OPO’Lab is working with the Precious Plastic machines already since 2016. Besides the reconstruction of the technical plan – provided by the platform of Dave Hakkens – OPO’Lab is always trying to improve parts of the machines, put some vital work in details in order to find new solutions to make it even more simple and convenient to work with.

Irena Übler started her collaboration with OPO’Lab in order to develop a series of activities sharing the knowledge and possibilities to work with the Precious Plastic machines. Within educational training, workshop and demonstration they aim to spread the awareness of sustainability and creating a social responsibility for towards recycling and using less and less plastic. Besides showing the possibilities of how you can transform plastic waste into new objects for long-term use, they also provide the service of development and production of molds and support your ideas for creating customized molds.

In collaboration with the collective “We Came From Space” and “LYFT – creative” studio she was commissioned to develop an art exhibition for the “Walk&Talk Festival” in Azores and a light installation for “LUZA – Algarve International Festival of Light” – both working with the technology of Precious Plastic.
